Hello!  Welcome to the first One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop of 2018! I am so happy that you are here today.  Whether you came here from Claudia Perry’s blog or just started here, welcome.

This month we are Sale-a-Brating the Occasions and today I have something to celebrate.  It’s my 44th birthday today!  The other day I was attempting to tell one of my sisters how old I would be today.  I actually couldn’t remember if I was going to be 44 or 45!  It’s so funny how birthdays used to be so very important, I NEVER would have forgotten if I was turning 17 or 18, and for sure I wasn’t confused if I was 29 or 30…

Did you know that right now, Stampin’ Up! is having their most AWESOME sale of the year?  It’s called Sale-a-Bration!  It’s super fun because with every $50 purchase you get to select a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  Even better, this year, is that there are two items available to select with a $100 purchase.  My projects today use both of those items, as they are my favorites!

My card uses an AMAZING stamp set called Happy Wishes.  It’s a stamp set full of sentiments in a totally lovely font.

I love the femininity of the font and the detail on the “happy” and “best” stamps.  There are so many options using this stamp set but I decided to color those itty bitty flowers in with the Stampin’ Blends.  Our Ruffle embossing folder was the perfect feminine addition.

Seeing as how we are Sale-a-Brating this birthday celebration of mine, I completed the coordinating party popper with the other FREE product, the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.  It’s the first time Stampin’ Up! has ever offered thinlits as a FREEBIE and they are GREAT!  The set includes three word dies, Celebrate, Amazing & You.  There are endless possibilities and even though I did not use it for these projects, they coordinate with the FREE Amazing You stamp set!

I cut the Celebrate out in Gold Glimmer and used it to decorate an party-worthy, candy filled popper!

Together, they make me feel good about this 44th year of my life!

I totally enjoyed this chance to Sale-a-Brate this occasion with me today and hope you enjoyed the projects.  I would love to know what kind of projects you would use these two freebies on if you had them in your craft room!  Leave me what you think, then hop on to see what Dena Rekow whipped up for you today!

Make sure you don’t miss any of the stops along the hop, here’s the full list:
