It’s time for another installment of A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! If you haven’t hopped with us before, we are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who have taken the monthly subscription kit, Paper Pumpkin, and turned it into something other than it was designed for. If you want more details about Paper Pumpkin or subscribing, you can check it out here.

If you came here from my sweet friend Monika Davis or you just started on my blog, welcome.  We hope you enjoy the projects and make some of them yourself.  So sit back, enjoy, and make sure you visit all of the blogs to check out what the other artists made for you!

This month’s kit is phenomenal!  I seriously love it JUST as it is, so I wasn’t willing to start working on a project until I was already done making the kit.  I had to only use the leftovers…adding in a few supplies from my stash.  The kit comes with the supplies to make eight (8) all-occasions cards.  The best part?  The kit also includes a gorgeous box, with an acetate lid, to bundle all of the cards up into, for gift giving!  Adorable!

Since I could only work with the leftovers, I went to my paper stash and grabbed a Thick Whisper White card base and a sheet of Calypso Coral.  From there I worked with the stamps, a few inks and the Layering Ovals framelits to come up with these:

I created an ombre look by using the flower stamp from the kit, along with the Stamp-a-ma-Jig and a few stamped off ink colors: Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride and Powder Pink.

I used some leftover bits of the kit striped ribbon to accent the “Congrats” sentiment.  I cut both the sentiment and the Gold Glimmer paper using the Layering Ovals framelits.  The card was finished off with some leftover Night of Navy Baker’s Twine and a couple flower and leaf accessories, also from the kit.

I decided that this little congrats card needed a little bag to pair with.  Something just the right size for a gift card, a cute pair of earrings, a friends favorite sweets or a slew of other things.

This bag was made using the Gift Bag Punch Board and some of the kits remaining pieces. I did add the gold glimmer oval and the Gold Binder clip that is holding it all together!  This little label is swoon worthy…

That’s all of the fun I have over here today!  Now it’s time to hop on over to Kelly Acheson’s blog and she what she has in store for us today.  I am sure it won’t disappoint!  Click the next button to see her creation:
